Carl J. Kosnar serves as Founder and Partner of the The Kosnar Group (“TKG”), a firm that specializes in providing business expansion consulting services to public and private companies interested in franchising, licensing and alternative growth strategies. The Kosnar Group is located in Cardiff by the Sea, California. 

From March, 1973 to December, 1988, Mr. Kosnar served as President of CAMS, Ltd., located in Chicago, Illinois, a national franchise and business development consulting company which he sold to a large, national accounting firm in 1988. Past and present CAMS, Ltd. and TKG clients include Fortune 500 and major international companies including Pearle Vision, Inc., Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurants, The Gillette Company, International House of Pancakes, Mazda Motors of America, ServiceMaster Industries, Inc., Budgetel Inns, Mother’s Restaurants (Canada), Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Brown’s Chicken, Computerland Corp., Partners Realty, Comprehensive Accounting, PostalAnnex, Inc., Rx Medical Services, Inc., Tradesman Industries, Inc., Realcor, Ltd, Calmark Franchise Corp and Bartercard USA, Inc. 

From 1989 to 1997, he served as a corporate officer and director of two public companies involved in the medical services and manufacturing businesses. 

Mr. Kosnar is the author of How to Sell Your Home Without a Real Estate Broker, published by McGraw-Hill Book Publishing Company. He is also the author of Improving the Franchisor-Franchisee Relationship for a Stronger Franchising System.

He is a committee member of a number of trade associations including the International Franchise Association, San Diego Software Industry Council, National Association of Television Program Executives and the National Association of Broadcasters. He has appeared as a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois, Elmhurst College and AICPA seminars and workshops to present educational material on the subjects of franchising, licensing and alternative growth strategies. Mr. Kosnar is an honors graduate of California Western University earning BS and MBA degrees. He also attended DePaul University, School of Law, in Chicago, Illinois.


Andi Kosnar serves as a Founding Partner of the The Kosnar Group ("TKG"), and specializes in providing franchise consulting services to companies interested in franchising, licensing and alternative growth strategies.

From 1973 to 1988, Andi Kosnar served as Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of CAMS, Ltd., located in Chicago, Illinois, a national franchise and business development consulting company. Her past and present clients include Bartercard USA, Inc., The Beauty Store & More, Inc., ACI Auditory Centers, Tradesman Industries, Inc., Biz Tech, Inc., Tropik Fruit & Nut Corporation, and ServiceMaster Industries, Inc..

Mrs. Kosnar is the Founder of The Beautiful Beast retail boutique store concept specializing in selling animal-theme items such as jewelry, clothing, accessories and giftware.

Her in-depth franchise background includes creating franchise sales materials and assisting client companies to develop franchise show programs and sales strategies, including International Franchise Association Expo and Franchise Showcase events.

Mrs. Kosnar is also responsible for defining the profile of the investor/franchisee, structuring territories, and arranging franchise presentation seminars.


Donald J. Brumlik serves as a Partner and principal of the The Kosnar Group. Messrs, Brumlik and Kosnar have been associates for over 30 years in numerous ventures including private and public companies listed on the AMEX and NASDAQ. Concurrent with his various associations with Mr. Kosnar, Mr. Brumlik was a partner in the law firm of Bradshaw & Brumlik located in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Brumlik advised many business organizations with respect to corporate strategy as to organization, financing, marketing and expansion.

His most recent affiliations prior to joining The Kosnar Group involved consulting as a principal in Sandhurst Equity Corporation, The American Language Kollege, PlanSearch Corp., Drago Architectural and Development and InfoByTel. He recently served as President and CEO of Advanced Medical Technologies, Inc., a public company. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Rx Medical Services Corp., a public company trading on the AMEX and was President of Calmark Holdings Corporation in Los Angeles, California, a major syndicator of real estate. While at Calmark he was President of Northview Corporation, the owner and operator of hotels in California, Nevada and Arizona and American Adventure, Inc. a membership recreation vehicle campground organization. He was a Vice President of Watt Industries, a major California real estate development company. In all these capacities he was involved in advising with respect to growth strategy, financing and marketing.

Mr. Brumlik holds a BS degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Additionally, he holds a Juris Doctor degree from De Paul University, College of Law.
